On September 20, MoreMall will host a world presentation of the Cannes Lions Creativity Festival which is the biggest event in the advertising industry on the planet. For the first time in the history of Cannes Lions the premiere show will be staged in Sochi. This year the organizers of the festival in Russia chose MoreMall as the main premiere venue to demonstrate the winning works. This retail center complies with all international premiere standards, constantly hosting top-level thematic events. The mall’s ultramodern 8-screen cinema Luxor IMAX ensuring high-definition images was another important factor. Best works of the Cannes Lions will be demonstrated in the halls equipped with the new Dolby Atmos technology providing a more natural and realistic sound with the participation effect. The 61st international advertising and creativity festival Cannes Lions was traditionally held this June in Cannes, France. Overall 37,427 applications were submitted from 97 countries. The event is considered the most prestigious festival for advertisers, winners being awarded the honorable “Lions”. After the event the best works are presented world over. Visitors to MoreMall will see the winners of two nominations: film and film craft. The audience will be able to appreciate the high artistry of the plots and signature techniques used by their creators. The festival has categories both for advertising companies and for technological achievements. The MegaFaces project from MegaFon, specifically developed for the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi became the first in the history of Russia winner of Cannes Lions Grand Prix in the Innovations nomination. Also to be presented in MoreMall is the MegaFaces project. The audience will see a plot about creation of the project that was the marketing sensation of the year.
